wordle shirts

have you seen wordle?

my friend is having a "cousin camp" out in colorado.  every year she makes shirts for all the kids, so this year i helped her by making some wordle shirts.  you can include all the words or phrases that you want and the it'll jumble them all up.  change the colors, fonts, shape!

printed them onto kona white fabric using freezer paper and some homemade bubble jet solution.
super cute huh?

field day skirt

I guess it's only fitting that this skirt is my first post.

This was the first thing I made when I started sewing last year. Actually I should say the first wearable item.
It is a Reversible wrap skirt. I like to wear the flap part in the back and the ties in the front, but it can be worn any way. I called it the field skirt, perfect for those weekend days spent going from one soccer field to the next baseball field. When you don't have time to change and you have little ones who love to "snuggle" into you ( always right after they ate something really messy) it's easy to just flip it around to the other side.
see. new skirt!

Anyway, what actually prompted me to enter this was spring skirt week by Crafterhours. I will soon learn how to "link" to another site. Hopefully? nevermind I did it!! huh, the day is looking better already.
